eBay seller - Hatton Garden service

I was browsing eBay as you do and came across this mess. What do you think? Is the seller somebody on here? Scam?

It is a bit of a mess, but why would you think it would be someone on here or a scam?

Just wondered. The bracelet changes in the photos to a different type. What do you think or would you rather just pick an argument with me? Read the description, the story that goes with it, and look at the pictures. Seems like an unlikely tale.

It would appear that you're the one seeking an argument with that response.

The seller seems to have been subjected by a really bad service and now wants rid of the watch. Yes, there are different bracelets pictured, but he was told he needed a new one and bought it as part of the service. There could be two.

I was just curious why you might think it was someone here or a scam.

    Have a pleasant Sunday.

That polishing job is awful. At least they’re honest about it. It doesn’t appear to be a scam as they’ve got lots of documentation on there, but it does look like they’ve had a very bad experience at the hands of the alleged repairer.

Regarding the Bracelet you are right. A new one was added to his bill. They are £365 to replace so that is legitimate. This is a watch forum. That’s why I asked if it may be a member on here. If it was a set of used dildos I wouldn’t have asked if they were a member on here:) If it’s a scam is another mystery . Thank you, I will have a nice Sunday. Hope you do the same.

The detailed ad explains the entire woeful saga including the 2nd bracelet.

I’d suspect that for the seller the watch is now ruined so he’s selling it, suppose akin to a car that’s been in an accident and then never feels right.

Wonder why the option to send it direct to Omega wasn’t explored unless the seller would have to pay for a service and corrections.

Has anyone here had any experience with the repairer in question?

What a horror story. I feel so sorry for the owner. I hope he has got detailed 'before' photos and is able to take legal action against the company. I would not hesitate. I can't see Omega doing any fixes for free, it's not really their problem.

When I owned a Rolex I did explore the option of servicing with them. If they are getting omega parts they must be legit as the way I understand it you can’t get them if you aren’t an authorised service centre .
O well, it’s sold now. Good luck to the buyer:)

Funnily enough the seller is a dealer so should have known better. 5 other watches for sale all around the 3-5K price range.
