I have limited knowledge and would like to try few new ones. Do you have any suggestion?

I drank Jack Daniels for years before stumbling on Buffalo Trace and much prefer it.
Woodford is also nice.
Moved on to rum lately though.
Thought this was a biscuit thread, disappointed.
I’m another vote for Woodford
And another for Woodford Reserve.
I have Bulleit and Buffalo Trace in the cupboard too, but Woodford is the only one I've ever had to replace...and a few times at that. The others are enjoyably different - worth checking out some tasting notes to see what you think might suit you.
Look out for Woodford and Buffalo in Amazon’s Black Friday a month from now, picked some up a couple years ago at about 30% off iirc.
A lot of recommendations here for Woodford Reserve, I'm not going to make one of them. Woodford is very much a middle of the road product, OK, but not exceptional in any way. Brown Forman, the company that owns Woodford Reserve (and Jack Daniels) does make some exceptional products however.
My favorite of those is the Old Forester Whiskey Row series of products, especially Old Forester 1920 "Prohibition Style" and 1910 "Old Fine Whiskey". Lots of the very best Bourbon today is hard to find, allocated, and pre-sold. OF 1920 is my go to at the moment for whiskey that you can actually find on the shelf.
Of the harder to find stuff, Heaven Hill's Elijah Craig has a limited Barrel Proof release, available 3 times a year. If you can get your hands on it, its pretty awesome stuff (especially the middle batch from this year B520), and way under-priced.
Also allocated, but worth hunting down is the twice yearly release from Buffalo Trace called Stagg JR. Also barrel proof, which lends to the punchy heightened flavors. Knock out bourbon.
Has anyone tried the proper 12 I’d like too sample it

Don’t often drink Bourbon but I do like ‘Makers Mark’, decent taste and very smooth. Must try this Woodford Reserve at some point.

Totally agree, Woodford is generally accepted as a mid level bourbon but if you wait for it to be on offer in the supermarkets at around £25ish it’s great value.
I was watching reviews of Old Foresters bourbon and it seemed to be held in high regard (all American reviews) is it available in the Uk?

I do like the Templeton Rye.
Used to be really hard to get hold of - but quite widely available nowadays.

I’d recommend trying the Wild Turkey 101, very nice and not expensive. Surprisingly smooth at 50.5% too!

I enjoy Maker's Mark bourbon and it's on offer at Sainsburys at the moment at £25. So as a starter, it's a pretty good option.
Can't abide Jack Daniels. Sorry.

Woodford is a nice bourbon
Been through most of the supermarket bourbons, wild turkey, buffalo trace, makers mark, Woodford and enjoyed them all, especially in old fashions.
Just got a bottle of Blanton’s and to my taste is a good step up.

Blantons is most agreeable, we got a friend a bottle for his 40th & he loved it.
This is a common misconception. In fact bourbon can be made anywhere in the US.
An excerpt from the US Government's official "Beverage Alcohol Manual".
Bourbon: "Whisky produced in the U.S. at not exceeding 80 percent alcohol by volume (160 proof) from a fermented mash of not less than 51 percent corn and stored at not more than 62.5 percent alcohol by volume (125 proof) in charred new oak containers."
Interestingly, Jack Daniels legally could be called Bourbon if they wanted to, they prefer their official designation as Tennessee Whiskey.
Agreed on the Blanton's.

No votes for Evan Williams yet? It's my go-to and is bloody lovely.
