I stumbled across this site tonight. I don't know if others are aware of it. But they tear down some of the famous and not so famous movements and also provide some fascinating reading on the people in the industry. For those interested in horology I encourage you to take a look. There is a wealth of information and even some free ebooks too. I have no affiliation with the site.

I'm pretty sure Peter Speake-Marin is the naked watchmaker. He set it out once he sold his watch company.
Yes it's Peter although I've not looked at the website properly but follow him on Instagram.
