    Putting the clocks back.

I hate this bloody ritual but it has to be done.

I have a techie type question. Is it genuinely bad to push the clock hand backwards or should you go forward just turning the hand around hour after hour. I know it's not a major thing but it bugs me. I have always played safe and turned the hands forward rather than backwards.

I have a collection of mechanical and quartz clocks.

Take no risks, everything forward, particularly on vintage clocks.

I just set my SKX007 by going backwards and it didn't explode in a shower of tiny screws, toothed wheels and springs, but who knows?

Just spent a tedious 20 minutes forwarding the hands, dreary but safe.
