    Comex Submariner on ebay

Came across a Comex on eBay is £500,000. Seller says brand new and 2008. That is just not possible is it?

Also has a "very rare" Breitling stopwatch up for £500k including these words "My fortune is the asking price. Let’s see! I must admit, have never seen this version before, either on eBay or anywhere else! So it’s must be worth something"

If I could be bothered I'd write him a short note thanking him for the laugh.

I object to the £3.70 postage if I am going to drop half a mill on that Breitling

You’d have thought he would take more than 2 photos if it was that special.

    One of four I believe.
One of which has been up for sale for a year or so @£195K at Watchfinder. No buyer.

God loves a trier and all that...

Just had a look. Vague description, spelling mistakes, no real depth of knowledge shown. Brave man that deals with him!

I wonder if he'll throw the monopoly in for free if you buy the watch?

I saw this last week and had wondered if this was someone dreaming they could make a sale on eBay, then purchase and flip the watch from watchfinder (the eBay pictures are clearly screen shots of the £195k watch)...

Looks like the listing has been removed now

It’s been withdrawn from sale - it was apparently sold privately. The listing was ‘for a friend’.

    Hmmmm.

    That sounds a likely explanation.

Just think how much of a bargain this is when you take into account the fact that the individual is offering free financial advice as well. They are just so so generous!

Seems to specialise in ‘optimistic’ pricing.
Has a nice notepad for the Bitcoin fans on here btw.
Started out with nothing. Still have most of it left.

I’ve seen that sort of thing on various eBay listings. Someone even put a figure on the value “this time next year”. Clearly if the seller believed it, they wouldn’t be selling!!
