    Jean Richard Geneve Aquastar 60

Recently back from a full service by Richard Askham and relume by James Hyman.

On a vintage tropic style strap that I've just received from Portugal.

The watch that made the deepest dive in the world history was a 1959 JeanRichard Geneve Aquastar 10ATM dive watch

Now to decide if I can afford to invest in the 2020 Deepstar re-issue...

Good to see some wear. Probably looks worse in the photo than it is in reality?

Oh, that's very nice - what model & movement? I'm guessing with the power reserve it's a Spring Drive?

New in this week, ignore the date, it's not until I saw the photo on the screen I realised how bad my eyes are! Anyway, loving the watch, just waiting for a new strap to arrive

Yep, it IS a big one! Not helped by the angle of the pic or the height off the wrist, that head is 20mm thick!

I've been enjoying some long awaited leave this week. And since idle hands mean more watches... This has been occupying my time.

It’s the SBGK005 and it’s a manual wind, so unlike my other spring drive GS the power reserve indicator’s not just a pretty ornament :)
