Managed to pick one up from WH Smiths last week, and have to say I was a little surprised at the lack of coverage for Grand Seiko whose only mention is on a shared page with Seiko in the directory section, with 2 of the 6 watches featured being GS. I presume the editorial is not all paid advertising??
£6.60 back on quidco too makes a years subscription great value. Not sure of subscribing now would get you this years watch book or next years...

Yep, still waiting for mine. Their website seems to suggest that they were short staffed due to the obvious. Annoying, as the day after I ordered from them I came across a copy in my local supermarket!

Just the stand along book - one off purchase. It reads subscription in the email for some reason, but was correct in the order confirmation and payment confirmation

They have said they are out of stock and looking to source more, offered refund or to ore order next years one

That's bloody annoying - I ordered the same day, and have heard nothing since, so not optimistic.

A heads up that the 2019 Big Watch Book is available on Apple News+, presumably this means the 2020 version will get there eventually. You can get Apple News+ as a free trial, though after trying it for a month I’ve kept it - shared with my partner it seems very good value.
Currently reading various car and motorcycle magazines (including MCN weekly, worth it for that alone if you’re a biker), as well as interior design and architecture, films, technology etc.. Seems good value if there are any magazines on there you read regularly. Nothing specifically about watches though sadly. I’m not a fan of men’s style mags like Esquire and GQ which just seem to be adverts interspersed with advertorials and product placements, but obviously I’ll make an exception for nice photos of watches!

Thanks for the tip - the same thing happened to me. I called Newsstand and they confirmed they are unable to fulfil my order and will refund me. However, they did not put this through until I called to enquire.
If anyone is still waiting on their order from Newsstand, it's worth calling them to follow up on it.
Oh the irony.... I started this thread because on getting the Newsstand email I jumped in nice and early... bought my copy in good time.
I had to email them there and got the knockback reply. What a joke!

The photo repro in the Directory is terrible! The matt paper kills any highlights, there's no fine detail and some of the watches are no more than black circles.
Oh no! So the quality isn’t good? Weird coming from Esquire!

Mine arrived today. Yes there are 6 front covers available. You will be sent one randomly unless you buy it from eBay for £12 where you can select your front cover.

Just been in touch with Newsstand - clearly known for a while they couldn't fulfil the order, and had no intention of doing anything about it unless chased, so as mentioned previously, do chase them up for a refund.
They claim it's been a smaller print run this year, which is either batsh*t or a straight-up lie, 'cos last year's run sold-out and there's a lot more people stuck at home desperate for something to read this year, especially as QP has gone-under since...
