No vehicle registration mentioned and after I’d clicked on the sender’s email address, it was quite obviously a wind-up. Cheeky buggers.

Notice the specific location as “United Kingdom” :-)
Also that it’s apparently a “Penality” charge and that I can find more “informations” if I was daft enough to press the link and provide the necessary details.
I like the neat touch at the bottom...an actual phone number you can call. Oh wait...it’s temporarily unavailable :-)

I got it too, as above, no ref number was enough o know it was a spoof.

It is in the scammers interest that only the most gullible click on the links, hence the apparently basic errors.

A quick check of the “from” email address is usually a give away.
I’ve had one ,the fact there’s no reg gave it away for me
