Panerai Service - Polish or Leave?

On top of the £525 service for my 351, I can get a "polish - as best as possible" for an additional £90. Does anyone have experience on what I can expect from the Richemont service centre in London? Would they be sympathetic or go OTT?

I know a number of good watch polishers but if the general consensus is that Richemont will do a good job then I'll take my chances as logistically it's much easier.

    Cheers.

A couple of years ago, I had a PAM111 polished when serviced at Richemont. Polishing was included in the service price then, though. It was done very well & came back as new, with no noticeable loss of metal (I accept there must be some loss). In fact, it came back looking so good I've rather babied it since.

When it came to getting my time-worn, favourite, PAM114 serviced, polishing was an extra & I decided against it.
