    G Shock advice!

My dad's G Shock has packed in and replacing the module is 45 quid so I am looking to find a similarly styled replacement, ideally which is solar and atomic. What models should I go for and where from? Thanks.

GAW-100 would be close from wherever Google says is cheapest

Edit: probably watchshop, just over £100

seems a shame not to replace the module. are they prone to going wrong? i.e would this be one of many issues?

In my experience (I have a few of them, some for over 10 years, including analogue ones) they aren't prone to going wrong. Never had a problem with any of them, or with the cheaper Casios come to that.

What is wrong with the module exactly.

I don't know I'm afraid, it has just failed. My dad also finds it hard to change the time when the clocks change so I have suggested an atomic and solar one would be better to avoid battery changes too.

This one is solar/atomic and is smaller than the one you've pictured.

I also recently got my Dad an atomic Casio to save him the drama of changing the time twice a year!

Thank you! Funnily enough unlike me my dad has a large wrist and likes a huge watch! I have suggested it to him though.
