    3000 (ish) posts SOTC

I had planned to post my sotc after 3k posts and 40 months on this fine forum. A little late on each count, but close enough.
I joined in March 2017 after buying my BLNR from my only local Rolex AD. At that point my collection was the BLNR, a JC DSSD, a polar EXP2 42mm, PAMs 422 and 49, and my Cartier chronoflex. Also ny very oldies, original TAG f1, Ingersoll automatic, and my non operating Longines presence (an engagement present from my first wife, god knows why I keep it). I wanted to learn more about watches in general and maybe meet new friends. Scored on each count.
There have been a lot added in the past 40 months, and quite a few leaving also. The 422 and BLNR have long gone, and in and out have been PAMs 232, 24, and 346, Rolex BLRO and YM2, Tudor BBBronze black dial and heritage chrono black dial, and Bremont MB2 white dial, orange barrel.
So the current collection is sorted into 3 boxes, diver's box, other PAMs box, and odds and sods box. I am now at a point where I am either loosing interest, or am quite content with what I have. I have my name down for a new submariner date, but am unconcerned about when, if ever, it will arrive. Nothing else is really catching my attention at the moment, but that may of course change in the future.
Anyway the pics, poor quality phone photography but my only option atm.
Divers box, L to R from top, Blancpain fifty fathoms, PAM 614, PAM 243, DSSD JC, sd43, DSSD JC.
    Pam box, 721, 231, 720, 372, 49, 587.
Odds and sods, BBBronze, Cartier chronoflex, EXP2 42mm polar, Ingersoll auto, TAG f1, Longines presence.
And of course a Gshock, not pictured.

    Nice!

The Polar Explorer is the pick of the collection for me, but not on that awful strap!! The SD43 is also a watch I dream of owning. Nice to see some PAMs too... no Breitling though? And why two DSSD’s ?!

Two DSSDs as the 116660 is my son's birth year watch, will be his when he is 18, and my 126660. Might be a poor plan, he might not be into watches, but one never knows.

Very nice collection, a big fan of the 126560 and polar exp II. The FF looks great in that company too.

Great collection! lots of very big watches! You should definitely try the new submariner! I love the thinner lugs and 41mm size.

PAM 49, my first Panerai from 2009. Not popular with Paneristis as it is 40mm case, white dial and automatic, but it has been round the world with me and I still love it.

Crazy how the 372 makes the 49 look like a kids watch .
    Great collection

Thanks. I hadn't noticed that about the 49/372, but now that you mention it I can't unsee
