Sadly, the watch IMO is not deserving of your skills and effort.
Nice pics but the watch leaves me underwhelmed.
Hi Guys,
so it's been a while from my last Eye Candy thread, so I thought why not and post a new one. I've got this King Turtle few weeks ago, bought it out of the blue and it really stayed on my wrist this whole time. I was not really a fan of cyclops and planned to do a superdome mod to it right away, but I might just hang on to it's original look, I kinda dig it. So with the exception of ceramic insert, new bezel design and sapphire, everything else is 'Turtle standard'. Well except the dial, if we don't count SRPD21.
But enough talk, here are some shots (still on default strap as I'm waiting for Skinny Fat bars)

Wonderfull pictures, great watch. I have the non-king version which I love, but yours is extra cool. Thank you.

Not particularly a seiko fan but those pictures make it look very appealing. Very nice indeed

Brilliant photos! I like these king turtles, not always a fan of faux lume but I think it works really well on this one.
Great photos and nice looking watch. I’ve had my eye on the SRPD21, but this is really nice. Like you I’m not a massive fan of a cyclops but to be honest it doesn’t look out of place on this.
Think these photos might have persuaded me to pull the trigger!
Appreciate the comments Guys, glad you like them
Thank you. Only post editing I use is Lightroom for removing dust spots, color balance and removing the highlights, I tend to keep it original as much as I can. So no Photoshop, every "effect" like a torch on first picture or 'black bubbles' on the last was real.
Yeah think it depends and some look a lot better in the flesh. There was one of the seiko padi divers (can’t remember which) I saw in a shop window a few months back. Didn’t look at it long but looked it up online when I got home and the cyclops looked hideous on the first photo I saw - hadn’t even really registered with me when looking in person that there was a cyclops, as it just fitted in with the rest of the dial. Went back to check it was definitely the same watch!
Fantastic pictures! Also one of my favorite Seiko.
The view that other Divers would have the moment you break the water surface
Gotta admit, I'm really digging Isofrane on Turtle
Stunning photos.

Those really are cracking photos!
Stunning photos @Nono
What stunning photos!
Regarding the cyclops, it appears Seiko is adding it to more watches. As well as the King Turtle, the new King Samurai (SRPE35 and SRPE37) have grown a cyclops too. I wonder if Seiko's design team felt that a cyclops would help the brand position itself more upmarket?
At least these latest King Turtles/Samurai now have sapphire glass (finally!) and ceramic bezels
Tnx guys, really appreciate the positive comments
Well yeah, that's the upside. Unfortunately along side the bezel inserts and chapter rings, cyclops is one of those things which aren't aligned. Mine suffers from this as well, it's difficult to see, but it's clearly there
Great photos. Looking very good on the Isofrane.
