    Blue watches

I am looking for a blue watch upto £3000 ideally new. Any ideas? Any pictures of what you have?

Are you looking for a dress watch or for a sporty / diver watch? What size it should be? Any limitations (e.g. Only automatic movement, WR only up to 100m etc.).

I’d suggest heading to an omega boutique for a browse to establish what style you like.

(I only say omega because they seem to make every style and permutation under the sun at the moment)

The Seiko SLA023 is a fantastic watch:

I wear mine on an Erica's Original but the bracelet is good, with an adjustable clasp.

Sinn do a few in blue.

There's also an all blue 103, a blue 104, the gorgeous 206 Arktis and a few more.

I am 40 in june and want to treat myself in advance (if waiting lists) I want to pay £3000 ish and like the diver watches. I haven't seen the bb58 in blue in real life only the omega seamaster but they are £4k plus now and are out my range and ideally I want a new watch.

2nd hand bond seamaster (41mm) - you should be able to get one that’s a few years old and in great condition for between now £2k and £2.5k I think.

Yip, if looking for brand new in the sub-£3k price range the Bb58 is a great choice

You could push the boat out and mod a Boctok. You would be left with quite a lot of change

BB58 or if you search and haggle you may come across a Tudor Pelagos like I did.

Although I know the draw of a new watch, I wouldn't count out lightly used. I picked this up from a UK AD's pre worn section for £150 over your budget - absolutely mint, 5 months old with everything from new and over 4 1/2 years warranty remaining. One of the most iconic blue watches to boot!

Can I ask if you have other watches and if so any black ones? I ask as many coloured dials change colour tone significantly in different lights. When I was searching out a blue dialed diver I thought I wanted a new SMP, then I tried it in a very poorly lit ad and realised it is almost black in such light, that seemed to make it too similar to my PO, and I started to widen my search again. I settled on a pelagos. What are they now? A bit over £3000 but possibly worth the stretch.

Yes, I would have got a Pelagos if only it was a tad smaller.

I have wanted a seamaster smp blue or bb58 blue for a long time but waiting for the 40th. I was stupid 2 years ago you could get the old smp for £2300 the new version is £4k plus. I think it will be between these 2 watches problem is I cant see the 58 blue anywhere

Sinn U1 B - by the time you've added the bracelet, full tegimentation and external AR delete most of your budget is gone...

    ---

Damasko DSub2 - another hardened-steel watch, and frustratingly excellent value...

    ---

A new/old kid on the block - Aquastar Deepstar chronograph -

    ---

And yet another handsome new face just arrived - Formex Reef -

    ---

Potential budget-buster (depending on how you source it) Tudor Pelagos -

Tudor BlackBay 58 Blue could be a good option. Also check some Grand Seiko. For example their this year's anniversary comes with a lovely blue dials. Check SBGP015 or SBGN005 (with GMT).
Also there are many other cool options. Such a s novelty from Circula watch (German brand) with ETA movement - check their model AquaSport.
Or Seiko does have many models with a nice blue dials. Check for example SRPE33K1, or SRPE49J1, or SPB149J1 (my favorite).

    IWC Le Petit Prince models.

Definitely not a diver, but the blue dials on IWC Le Petit Prince Pilot’s Mark XVIII watch and Chrono are quite lovely in the flesh.

Looks like the Mark XVIII should be doable within budget, I’ve got the Chrono, which looks like it’s probably a touch over, but is oh so lovely!

Few I can think of off the top of my head that look good in blue -

Omega Seamaster Pro (any of them from the 2541 to the modern day)
Tudor Black Bay - in 58 or garden variety
Breitling Aerospace has a blue dialled version that looks good

All of these can be had sub £3000

I did a quick search on Chrono24 and from Breitling there are Superocean, Superocean Heritage and Navitimers available for under £3,000 with blue dials. Maybe these are worth looking into?

    Blue watches

Can be found without the bracelet at top end of your budget and the dial to me is a lovely blue!

Should be able to negotiate to something close to £3k from RRP new, otherwise very easily under budget pre-owned.

    Blue

The 104 St Sa ABE will be pre-owned only now and will be cheaper even including the cost of a new bracelet from Sinn themselves.

    104 St Sa ABE

The Pelagos is chunkier than the 104, other than that either would make great dailies given their WR and build quality.

There's a BB58 Blue on the strap sat in the window of Martin's Cheltenham as of 3pm today. Also I picked up a Railmaster Denim not so long ago for considerably less than your budget, brand new. I've become very fond of this and feel that it's way underrated

That is lovely - Having just done a quick Google, it seems everyone agrees and the prices, even of quite tatty ones, reflects it! Once again, If you can find one in budget, let us know!

Someone suggested a Sinn 206 Arktis II - I'd be surprised if you got one in budget, but a used 203 (Are there any NOS ones anywhere?) should give you a healthy chunk of change if you can find one.

Not the best pic to show the blue dial off, but this is my newly acquired Aqua Terra with a deep blue dial. A lovely thing for WELL under your budget used (half your budget in my case!)

Your Google-fu is weak, my friend - it's an incoming reissue, off the blocks at ~£2,500 if you pre-order: https://aquastar.ch/pre-order/

The blue Black Bay 58 would get my vote. At a slightly lower price point, Oris makes some great divers and both the Aquis and the Divers 65 are available with a blue dial. https://www.oris.ch/data/29086_27766...zontale(1).png

Defo recommend the bb58 blue. Great watch. The shade of blue is just perfect in my opinion

Ruddells Wolverhampton have a blue BB58 on leather if interested

Another vote for the BB58. I have the bracelet version and it’s just the right shade of blue.
