    Stealth Yachtmaster

Well. I got the call from the dealer. And I couldn’t get the NATO on quick enough.

Is this a joke? I rather suspect it is..... Apart from the aesthetics, a NATO would struggle with the weight of a solid gold watch. They are heavy . It would slide round the wrist.
It doesn’t feel convincing. Especially when the gold clasp is a significant part of the cost ( 6k) and would be wasted. The watch is specifically designed to work with the Oysterflex.
Let’s see more detailed photos please .

A no from me for the nato, but congrats on the new arrival. Look forward to some better photos.

P.S. Actually, the nato look is growing on me. Could be a good call.

Looks cool, especially with the Nato. The matt Black bezel insert has also transformed the look and durability of the Yachtmasters. Probably my favourite current looking Rolex.

Not for me. That YM is stealthy enough on the oyster flex on glidelock clasp.

what are you using to change the clasp. Gold is soft so strap changing will show up more for us OCDs

    welcome to the yacht club!

All points taken on board !
Love the oysterflex, just don’t want to scratch the white gold clasp 😂

I just love how understated this watch is. And a white gold X thousand pound Rolex on a £5 strap sort of feels good !

I actually want a Rubber B or Everest strap ( in orange ) but unbelievably they don’t make them yet !?

Getting the NATO on was a job though ... crickey the lug bars are close to the case.

Interesting to see Rolex new approach with the un named warranty card and “Rolex design” between the lugs

    Thanks all for the comments.

Totally. That’s why I have ordered a “zag” phone protection set off eBay for £1.49 and will cut a strip to size to protect the clasp. The AD left the protector on the clasp so still pristine for now.

Believe me, it’s not just the clasp that gets marked (although it does). No point in worrying. A white gold watch requires a certain ‘relaxed’ attitude to scratches. Otherwise it won’t be enjoyable.
I don’t think a Nato can steadily hold this heavy watch in place, it will slide. That’s something the Oysterflex is intended to prevent with its bellows. And it works. I’ve never had a gold watch held more securely, and that includes Rolex bracelets.. The company know what they are doing.
Come to think of it, you might be able to fit a standard steel clasp if you’re that worried.

You paid several thousand pounds for the Oysterflex with clasp. The latest one with adjustments. In my opinion (and I’ve been using this model for six months) it will look better, and work better, than any alternative.
Yes, the clasp will get marks, but at worse you will simply need a repolish in due course. And you get to use what you paid for.
Anyway, have fun. It’s a great watch.

Great watch but not a fan of either strap to be honest. Now if it was on a bracelet...
Started out with nothing. Still have most of it left.

    Great strap. Change the watch.
