    114060

    Hi there.

    Am looking for some info.

What sort of sales value could be put on a two month old 114060.

    Purchased from a WOS AD.

    Thanks
    Adam.

Guess you’re ‘not bonding’ with it then?
Started out with nothing. Still have most of it left.

    Not massively no.

Agree with that. 8-9k definitely achievable fairly easily. But, if I was you - try it for a little longer than two months, it is a fantastic watch.

Can’t imagine for a minute anybody’s paying 9 or 10k for that matter for one of these

    Maybe 7.5 to 8

I agree with this - a private seller could never sell for what dealers advertise watches, so even if dealers are selling them for £9.5k, you could probably get max £8k yourself

Had a recent dealer offer of 9k for a well worn 2018 sub date. Hence I assume you will get 8.5k to 9k for a 2 month old sub non date. At least 8k surely.

  10. #10
    I think £8.5k a good compromise?

Also does depend somewhat on where you are planning on selling.

I’ll chance my arm - are you wishing it had a date function on it?

£6K+ selling to a dealer - depends which dealer you sell to, more of a private sale.

It all depends how much you want to make from it.

Anything above the £6450 RRP is a profit.

I know they’re in demand and command above RRP so it all depends on what you want. You could probably make a quick £1000- £1500 profit on here at £7.5k to £8k

There were two similar to yours that sold on eBay last month for £9250 and an offer below £9500 so maybe eBay is your best bet.

eBay has free or £1 final fee offers, but this only works if you accept payment using PayPal, so that will need to be factored in. I would say maybe £7.5k but I guess it depends about the availability of the new and improved movement version over the coming months

£7.5k on here is fair for one of these.

Last one to sell here went for that in August pre-disco. Would say it's higher now. £8-8.5k depending on age/condition/warranty for a private sale on here seems right. More if it's brand new stickered etc but a lot of this depends on how availability is on the new 124060 as I'm sure most would rather have one of those.

All depends where you're selling. If on SC, best put it up at a slight discount to what you paid - you know, just to avoid any arguments and to "keep it on the forum".

8-8.5k would be a reasonable price. I can’t see these going much higher as the new supply filters through which a large majority seem to favour.

I reached out to watch finder a couple of weeks ago and they offered the below - mine is a dec 2019

Subject to inspection, our initial offer is between £8,000 and £8,250. This estimate is valid for 7 days.

I kept it in the end and they came back to me to chase up and ask ifI wanted a call so my guess is £8500-£9000 via private sale

That’s on a no date sub?
That’s a really high offer from WF

I paid £9k for my 114060 from WF a couple of months ago. That was on the back of a really good p/x offer for a Panerai. The watch is a full-set minter and factoring in a 12 month warranty and option to return within 14 days, was happy with the price. I would probably have paid £8-8.5k from a forum member at the time, but then would have had the hassle of selling my Pam. I see they've only one 114060 listed at the moment and asking just short of £11k for it.

I think as a private sale you would be looking at 7.5k considering you can purchase one for £8.4 from a highly respected dealer.

But the OPs is two months old with almost the full five year warranty whilst Haywood’s is eight years old. You’re hardly comparing like for like.

Although as always, Haywood’s watches are almost always the most reasonably priced and this one is no exception.

For an 8 year old watch you could be right. Not for anything within warranty though.

Some of the prices are bonkers.

If anyone wants to throw an obscene offer at me I’d sell mine for sure!

Thing is did they actually sell? or was it the usual mutual agree to not go ahead with the sale. eBay you cannot cage a price as you actually ever know it sold unless you ask the chap who bought it lol
