Aeonium (houseleek) maybe?
Another fascinating thread...
I was given one of these. I thought Mrs MCH was looking after it (because she looks after all the plants). Mrs MCH thought I was looking after it (because it was given to me). All was well for a few weeks then overnight every single leaf fell off it. She then started looking after it but it has remained a lifeless stalk.
Now we (I) need to replace it.
What is it?

Looks like a Stuart to me... or maybe a Stephanie if it's female.

Unlike some suggested, looks like a house plant so demise could be due to a cold night.
If dropped leaves look okay may well be easy to propagate from these.
I think there is an app you can get which if you take a photo of it, it will tell you all about it, how to look after it etc. Afraid I don't know the name of the app but sure it will be searchable.
I'm almost certain it is the Giant Stinkhorn:

So clever my foot fell off.
I’ll probably add to this thread when I try to force the neighbours into replacing a plant builders walked into the ground whilst working in the boundary.
I’m clueless and I’ll need a hand.
