    What is this & how do I use it?

    Friend gave me this because he knows I like watches " an' it's a watch gizmo innit?"
    It came in an unmarked plastic bag so no clues there.
    He bought a toolbox with some bits in it & this was in there apparently.
    What's it for & how is it used?
    Answers on a postcard...

    It’s for securing your bracelet whilst tapping pins or removing screws.

    Use it like this, for removing bracelet link pins.

    Aha! I wondered if it would be for bracelet changes so I wasn't far wrong. Could it be used for that?

    I wouldn’t use it for changing bracelets and straps, it would be tricky to manipulate the watch head using this. As stated its just for steadying the bracelet while driving out pins.

    Thanks for the replies. I will hang on to it but I don't do bracelet alterations, just the odd change from bracelet to leather or NATO. What I need is one of those soft lined trays for holding the watch head safely still while wrestling with the Bergeon & trying not to damage anything...
