I would definitely have bought this beautiful Waltham with rock crystal plates if I had known it was up for sale.
Few were made and they were the very first watches to use pressed in jewels.
I know that the former Japanese owners of Waltham have two in their collection, because I catalogued them for Basel Fair in 1998.
I just find this watch absolutely stunning to look at. It for me embodies such skill and artistry.
