We use GoHenry, seems to work well, he gets a physical card that he can use as a normal debit card in shops, even with his Xbox, you have a parent account that you pay into, then you choose how much gets paid to the card and when, very easy app to work with too.
( if you do go with that one, I think there is a referral scheme we could do to get credit each way)

    Children's pocket money apps.

I went for junior revolut cards for the kids. I already had a revolut account and less expensive with similar functionality to gohenry. I think they are all much the same

I thought goHenry was a bit expensive but my kids are young so not really worth it. For older kids it’s a good way for them to learn about banks and money.

    We have used GoHenry.

I think they charge for ad hoc transfers rather than regular transfers.

    So it's pretty good.

    Customer services works too.

When I used GoHenry, there was no way to get money out, other than by spending it. You couldn't transfer money from the child account.

    Oh.

Didn't know that. Glad I do now as that would be seen in a poor light by the regulator.
