Good advice, particularly so for us men.

Finally caught up with an old friend by phone recently.
I'd been meaning to call him for months.
He always puts a brave face on things. Never really complains unless in jest.
But I was a little more persistent this time and he acknowledged he was finding things difficult.
Take your pick from pressures.
Covid. Poor business. Elderly parents. Challenging schooling. Unsupportive partner. Health issues.
Tick, tick, tick, tick.
If you've been putting off calling someone, or haven't got around to it, try and make time once a month or so. Even if it's for just a few minutes.
Hopefully a few of you will bump this thread occasionally as a reminder to us all.

Ignorance breeds Fear. Fear breeds Hatred. Hatred breeds Ignorance. Break the chain.
Good reminder - thank you for posting that - what can seem a simple thing to us can often really keep someone else going.

Yep, absolutely agree. We need to be okay with feeling uncomfortable talking about our feelings, and where our heads are at.
It's been said, drinking is a man's way of crying.
Thank you for making this post
