    40mm PRS-25

    Hi all,
Can anyone please tell me if the 40mm PRS-25 Everest is still being made/sold?
It’s showing as out of stock at the moment.
    Thanks in advance,
    Rob

Out of stock. Keep an eye on eBay or SC here.

Quoting the last timefactors email before they sold out:

I still have a few of the 40mm Smiths Everest and when they're gone, this model will not be re-stocked.

All gone. I got one from the last time the shop was open and sold it here on Sales Corner. Couple more posts and you'll have access to that part of the forum. You could always try putting up a "Want to Buy" but I'm not sure if there is post count requirement to do so.

Thanks all, I haven’t been looking at watches at all recently so missed that they were finished.
    I think a 36 will be too small as I’ve 7.75” wrists.
    Cheers,
    Rob

Got for the 36mm - continue the smaller size revolution - the new logo is the icing on the cake!

I bought a 36mm Everest, sold it the next day and bought a 40mm.

My wrist is approximately 7.25” but the 36mm just felt too small for me.

If you want 40mm then go for it but the newer, sapphire version is, IMHO, much nicer than the original acrylic version. So much so that I rarely wear any of my other watches these days.

My other watches at the moment are an Orient Saturation Diver and a Gshock Frogman D1000 so I’m very anti revolution Im afraid!

    That’s the one I’m after.
I may have a lead on one so I’ll see if I can follow it up and rejoin the club.
I’ve had a Precista in the past which I shouldn’t have sold, and a PRS-40 which I would like to buy again sometime in the near future.

    A Possible Substitution

If the Smiths is unavailable, I could recommend two replacements. I have a 40mm Hamilton Khaki King (only 50 meters water resistance) https://www.jomashop.com/hamilton-me...h64455133.html

and my brother has the Hamilton Khaki Field https://www.jomashop.com/hamilton-watch-h70455133.html that is 38mm with 100 meters water resistance. These may not be your cup of tea, but they really scratch that Explorer/Field watch itch in a larger size for me.

If that source didn’t work for you I may be able to help.

    All the best

I find that one of the benefits of having a few watches of different sizes, 36, 40 and 42mm, is that come watch change day in rotation every 2 to 3 weeks, it's almost like "new watch day" all over again.

That may be an option, I do love my Orient and am actively looking for the white face version too.
I’ll have to take a look at Eddie’s return policy and maybe take a chance on the 36 soon.
    Cheers,
    Rob

Funny, 40mm Smiths is the smallest watch I own and I am still considering the 36mm instead of this.

Thanks for the pic, looks very nice. I think it’s going to be the 40mm for me to tell the truth.
Maybe partner it with a PRS-40 as I do miss my old one.
    Thanks all,
    Rob
