Absolutely hate polished centre links. If paying money to alter the bracelet on the BB GMT get those rivets removed.
I found this on Instagram and thought it was worth sharing here.
A Tudor GMT that has had the centre links polished. In my opinion it looks quite good, thoughts?

It’s interesting the result, I don’t like it though

Can't stand polished centre link's. It's like you just have to look at it and tiny swirls start appearing.

Absolutely dreadful. I can’t wait for PCLs to fall out of favour and tool watches to stop looking like jewellery.
All a matter of taste of course but not for me.
It actually does look that bad tbf - I do struggle with my GMT and those polished centre links - just looking at the damn things and there are scratches!
Do people dislike them because of looks or practicality?

Good grief no.
I'm the polar opposite - & thinking of getting my GMT II PCLs brushed.

I’ve owned a few Rolex models with PCL and still have a DJ41 with PCL oyster. I like them on my DJ41 as they match the highly polished bezel around the crystal but my previous watches (GMT-2C and Millgaus) would have been better without IMO.
I try to keep my watches in “showroom condition”, which is pretty difficult with PCL. I resorted to covering the clasp and PCL either side of it in transparent plastic film. Near invisible if done carefully and prevents swirls and scratches.
Don't like the look of the PCL on the Tudor...it works on some of the Rolex models, but as said above they scratch as soon as you look at them!!
Interested to hear details about the prospective film!
Don't much like the watch to be honest, but I don't mind the look of polished centre links generally. Yes they can get marked, but hey I don't see that as a reason not to have them. Be like not having nice paint on a car 'cos it's bound to get chipped! Buy it wear it.
Started out with nothing. Still have most of it left.
Noooo.. that look awful.
I like polished centre links if the case is also polished. As with the Milgauss. Then the polished centre links match the case. Looking at my Milgauss on the wrist now it goes polished lug/brushed outer link/polished centre link/brushed outer link/polished lug. Looks nice imho.
It's the watch equivalent of having a beautiful modernist bathroom, and adding a knitted flamenco dancer loo roll cover
If you remember back before tempered glass became the standard protection for mobile phones, there was a company called Zagg who produced a film called “invisible shield” that was applied using a wet spray to mobile phone screens. This stuff works well on clasps too...it’s near invisible, adheres well but doesn’t leave any residue. I buy from ebay the invisible shield screen protectors for redundant mobile phones for a couple of quid and cut to size.
I should have started a business as I see another company is now selling this film for £80 a pop to Rolex owners!

Oh hell no!
I can only imagine you guys dry hump your wives with clothes on to save her for the next guy. Shameful
I’ve just had my PCL’s on my GMT2C brushed and it looks a thousand times better than it used to. It suddenly feels like a tool-watch again, rather than shiny jewellery. You have gone the opposite way, OP. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder but I have to say I think you’ve spoiled the look of the watch. As long as you love it, who cares.

Apologies OP. I just realised that this is not your actual watch.

Went the opposite way.
Same here. I’m so pleased with the result. Got the bracelet back a couple of days ago and it feels like a completely new model.

Each to his own, I do not like the polished links.
