    Tudor Pelagos LHD

Just arrived, bought used and very impressed with it. I never saw myself buying a Tudor/Poor mans Rolex but this watch has been on the radar for a while. I fancied something new (to me) and having had 3 holidays cancelled to date in 2020 I have a bit (!) of spare cash so thought “Why not?”

I’m sure I could ship it at minimal/no loss of required.....

    Anyway, Big box arrived....

Rubber strap (uses the end links off the bracelet)

    Finishing is excellent

Unique number on caseback (but not special edition)

    Nicely weighted in Titanium

    Coin edge bezel

Faux vintage lume it’s to everyone’s taste but I quite like it.

Nice touch of red writing (also has roulette datewheel, not shown)

    Tudor spring-loaded “glide lock”

And the novelty of the crown on the wrong side?

Well I’m not sure about that but it certainly doesn’t bother me.

I really like these watches...I wish they did this colour scheme on the normal version! Congratulations on the purchase.

Looks very good - I’ve never owned a Tudor maybe it’s time I tried one.

    Tudor Pelagos LHD

My LHD was my first Tudor and I’m very impressed; I was a bit dubious about the whole cream coloured lume thing so initially bought the standard black and white model. I returned it as it felt a bit too stark and got the LHD version instead.

I love the roulette wheel, the red writing and it’s a real strap whore. Probably one of my favourites now to be honest too.

That’s how I felt, god bows how long I’ll keep it (depends on how often I wear it) but I’m very impressed

Nice. I’ve always wanted to try one of these. It looks like the perfect do-anything, go-anywhere watch.

I wasn't aware of the number on the caseback.

There are very few 'faux patina' watches which I like, but the LHD is one of them. Its very subtle, really just a toning down of white lume.

I have the non LHD that I bought myself for my 40th & I love it, it’s just a beast but lightweight too.

My preference is on a nato or ISO, which I prefer to the OEM rubber. To be fair, only tried it once, so maybe should try again - love the way it used the end links though.

It is currently my only watch with adjustable clasp, wish more had this, as makes a difference in the summer months.

I love the ‘faux patina’ - I wonder if anyone has fitted the dial, hands and date wheel to a ‘RHD’ version?

I’ve found it to be a scratch and swirly magnet

I have the Harrods black bay, really enjoy this piece, I just always thought the bracelet could be better, I have never seen the Pelagos close up, but the pics look good.
    Enjoy

True, you had them both - was that when you were Seikoboy or was it during the Charlies episode? Or do I have it completely wrong and it was when you posted as Northlondoner - or maybe as the original Nickshangs??? @Nick: I saw that you just deleted your Instagram page made your Instagram page private and blocked me.

In case you ever regret that and would like to have your photos back, just give me a buzz because I have a backup. That's okay because I have a backup.
