    Watch brands ranked

Saw this guy again on You Tube today. Not a big fan of his videos, or his analysis. Interestingly...He’s had a crack at the highly subjective job of ranking watch brands. Keen to hear what people make of his rankings. He’s placed Lange in a category just above “Trash”....not sure about that. Also, best of luck figuring out where his accent is from....

    Google the universal geneve erotica...

It’s right next to the Rolex Speedmaster.

Ranking Casio and Rolex as the best watch brands in the world suggests that he must be a member here.

But then he went and stomped all over Grand Seiko, so he’s not welcome here in my book.

If there’s one thing YouTube needs more of it’s militant Rolex fanboys with a bad attitude.

I detected just plain common sense without any bad attitude and I, for one, agreed with most of his conclusions.

He was talking about brand strength and not on the watches them.

You cannot deny that Casio, although not much of a watch has a very robust and well defined image that imparts the product and its lifestyle. The same applies to Rolex. I would guess that any independent marketeer would arrive at a similar conclusion.

Sorry Mick. Anyone who pronounces Seiko the way he does is a wrong 'un in my book.

I was surprised by a few things. I know it's all subjective but...

    Tissot and Tag above IWC
Lange as "meh" compared to Bulgari or Seiko.

I have none of those brands myself, but I would have expected the opposite.

How can you love Casio that much but absolutely hate Hublot?? Nothing original about his opinion, very watch forum and cliche

I don't even bother to watch.

I already know that I become a true WIS if I hate TAG and despise Invicta.

I can’t get past his pronunciation of Bulova, Breitling and Seiko

The second I saw he was wearing a gold watch with a silver tie clip, I knew I was going to disagree with him. Shame on me for not even trying to get beyond first impressions.

I would rate his opinions in the Hublot category.

Longines and Tissot over Lange & Sohne? Pretty random stuff all in all. Excuse me if I don’t subscribe.

I don't think I can deliver a better put down than he appears to be an Archie Luxury wannabe; not sure there's much below that.
    In the Sotadic Zone, apparently.

Both right. It's a Dutch guy having a shop in Belfast according to Google.

I'd never heard about that guy and I can assure you that his (mis-)pronunciation of the brands isn't the Dutch way of pronouncing the names. It's his own gibbarish.
