    Spec me a Jacket

Hi guys, need your help! Looking for a jacket that's breathable and water resistant to wear through the autumn, winter and spring months. Needs a hood and needs to look smart casual as I'll be wearing it to the office on occasion so nothing red, yellow etc.
I have some shower resistant wax jackets but they aren't up to the task of keeping me cool and dry when I'm on a fast paced walk in the pouring rain. Any suggestions would be really appreciated.

This or similar. Uses the same fabrics as their outdoor jackets but styled more for a smart casual effect. Quite expensive mind but they often pop up at a discount. There are also insulated versions depending on how cold you get.

Berghaus Ridgemaster - not crazy money for a decent goretex jacket. I bought one in a sale (they seem to be available reduced regularly) a few years back and end up choosing It more often over more expensive jackets.
It's just a matter of time...

I’ve got a belstaff evo trail master which has been superb in the recent downpours whilst looking semi smart it seems to be belstaffs take on goretex works really well but it is just a shell no padding.
