This way off any topic, but I've come across a collection of hundreds of four leaf clovers in my parents 'stuff'. Do they have any intrinsic value? Jewellery makers, superstitious people?? Are they rare?
Will they help me survive 2020...?

Can’t answer your question however I had a 5 leaf one when I was a kid
Come across loads of 4, and 5 leaf clovers around the fields here in Fife. Never found them anywhere else... ever!
Can’t stop finding the damn things now when I’m out for a walk, so generally not that uncommon I would guess, unless Fife is unusually blessed!

I read recently that you’re far more likely to find a 4 leaf clover in areas where they are struggling and where’s there’s poor light (and/or I think moisture / nutrients)... in these situations, they apparently put out an extra leaf in order to capture more light; so it’s a sign they’re struggling.
Therefore if you want to find one, done search in brightly lit crops on healthy ground... look in darker, poorer areas.
As for Fife; the finest county in the UK! Everything is better in Fife!
Back to the OP. They clearly had value to your parents and they must have collected them over quite a period, sentimental value for you or any of the family perhaps. If not stick them in a local auction or on ebay, they won't make much but they'll eventually find a home with someone who will cherish them.
This summer the our (and neighbours) garden was suddenly a clover zone, spent ages just getting rid of it without looking to see if any had 4 leafs, being in Fife
I maybe should have.
OP, thought about laminating some and punting them on eBay or similar?
