Joint Forum Fundraiser and Step-tember Charity Competition - Just Giving

I have been taking part in the Step-tember competition at work with the goal of 500,000 steps during the month of September - essentially a stepathon.

As of Monday morning, I was in the lead just 312 steps ahead of second place and smashed my target having 595,212 steps with three days to go - my revised target is now 700,000 !! That’s over 23k per day, and for the last three days I need to hit 35k each day!

The winner of the competition gets £300 to their chosen charity (from my work) - which I am endeavouring to come first, and I have decided to try any up the ante and have set up a Just Giving site to raise money for New Life charity who provide equipment for disabled children to give them a better quality of life - something that is close to my heart.

I am going to extend this to include the two items that have on SC, and will split the money between Eddie’s fundraiser and the Newlife Just Giving site.

Also recognising that these are a bit specialist and you need to be local to me, I will also post up some more relevant watch related goodies for charity donations later on.
