Cool Just a little reminder about value for money...

    Hi All

I went into Amsterdam Vintage Watches to ask about a local watchmaker (let me know if you have one!), and casually asked to look at one of their vintage Rolex Explorers. It was small and light and fit me pretty well.

    "How much?," I asked

    €24,000 (!)

I sit it down carefully and backed away.

I get it (rare=rare), but omg, it's worth keeping in mind that some "timepieces" are not priced for their timekeeping qualities...

Does kind of highlight how much value for money Eddie’s watches are!

As it concerns Rolex, it will only get worse or better, depending on which end of the stick you are holding. Rolex is going to be bigger than Jesus.

    I'll get my coat.

That looks like a refinished dial, the printing on mine is not as bold.
