Euro to pound - best place to exchange??

I was supposed to be headed off to spain next week but, if course, it's been binned.
I've got 125 euro sat here and I may as well swap them back for pounds and do something useful with them, any suggestions please? Post office looks best from a quick look online, I get about £100 back (exchange rate works out to about £112). Is that my best bet on the high street? I appreciate it's not a lot of money so I'm not going to be more than a couple of quid up or down, annoying paying the commission twice though.
    Thanks all.

Try selling them on here pal. Currency always seems to sell well on SC.

Good advice, I purchased 130 euros last week that did not get used at a rate of 103, Tesco kindly offered to buy them back at 122, complete rip off.

You are probably best holding on to them. If you change back to Pounds and at a later date change back to Euros you will be hit twice on exchange fees. You haven't lost the money, it still has value and you may be able to do a private deal with a friend where you both exchange at a fairer rate and do each other a favour.

I would stash them away because you are bound to use them sooner or later.

Unless you're don't see yourself going back to the eurozone in the foreseeable future, you will end up buying euros again at some point and will lose money again.

I speak as someone with 120euros folded up in his wallet as I didn't spend it all in the Netherlands in August but we're in a slightly different position in that Mrs MCH is Dutch so we go to Europe to see family as well as on holiday.

Wait for Brexit, you'll be able to retire on 125 Euros...

You're right, of course. I'll stick them under the mattress until either wifey finds them or I finally manage to board a plane!
    Cheers.

Get a credit card with no foreign exchange fees and use that for all your purchases. Then all purchases will always be at the foreign exchange rate of the day.
