    Anyone fancy a £200k submariner?

Just spotted this on a local news site. A 5512 sub with a rare 3-6-9 dial going to auction soon!

A very short read if anyone is interested -

One owner, box and papers as well. That will set up the couple nicely. What a nice surprise for them.

Trying to keep the price down are we!

Nice little auction house quite close to me but well advertised to maximise prices, I like their guitar auctions..

If I buy anything else this month the only thing I’ll be getting is a divorce :-(

It’s is odd though , almost all the auction houses are going the other way and heavily understating estimates ... be interesting to see how this opposite approach plays out !

No such thing, its just wealthy collectors who have ended up having to grossly overpay for old Rolex because there are enough morons willing to pay it.

Interestingly, everyone, independently of the league they play in seem to have a similar problem.
