People keep asking this. They should stick a banner at the top of the screen or something, make it a bit clearer.
The clue is in the word Forum. A place to discuss watches and other stuff with like minded people.
Obviously when relative newbies (or oldies with low post counts) start banging on about the sales area it is bound to raise eyebrows sometimes.
