Incredible. Massive thanks for the support.

I'll be having a little rummage in my consolation prize bucket.

I’m in for £20 and if it’s of interest I’m happy to donate a Casio Worldtimer as a consolation prize.

    Nice one benny.c.

Just send the Worldtimer to me now - I will need consoling when the draw has been made.

No problem. I’d certainly hate to win it back

Only kidding - it looks great in a retro kind of way, plus a ten year battery and 100mm water resistance. What’s not to like? Plus I used varnish remover to get rid of the “Illuminator” and “World Time” text on the bezel so mine looks much more sophisticated ;-)

    £20 from me too

  13. #63
    This is rubbish!

Too many people have joined in...I’ll have no chance of winning anything...I didn’t do this for charity you know!

Seriously, well done Matthew. It’s a success before it has even finished.

In recognition of the absolutely magnificent level of support, I'm adding this iconic Vostok Amphibia 420526 AKA 'Zissou' immortalised by Bill Murray in 'The Life Aquatic'.

It is basically unworn and comes on the rubber strap which is a million times nicer than the bracelet. If it’s not to the winners taste then it would be a great base for modding practice with the easily swappable parts.

P9MES has thrown a PRS-10 beater into the mix, and it looks as though it might have bounced a couple of times on the way

Although this has clearly seen some action and has a crack in the edge of the acrylic crystal well beyond buffing out with a bit of polywatch, it is perfectly serviceable and has just had a new battery fitted. This can be comfortably grabbed and worn as a military watch should.

I'm aware that the Virgin Money Giving site has glitched a couple of times during this, and a very small number of attempted donations have failed to complete. If you have tried to make a donation but have not received a confirmation e-mail then it probably has not gone through successfully, but please give it a few hours before reattempting just in case.

Enormous thanks again for the fantastic level of support for this, both here and via PM.

It must be time to add another consolation prize.

Brand new, direct to your door, any strap of your choice currently available from the Haveston range.

By way of example here are a couple of options, and there are loads more including the popular canvas series.

20mm Redstone-B A2 with polished hardware and an 18mm Invasion A2 with brushed hardware.

Today is #HelloYellow, a day organised by Young Minds to highlight to young people that they’re not alone when struggling with their mental health.

It is an appropriate time to add this yellow 'CasiOak', very generously donated by Michael E.

Brand new, boxed with everything. Model number: GA-2110SU-9AER
