    PSA John Lewis LEGO discount

I thought this might be helpful for anyone thinking of getting their kids (cough cough) LEGO for Rosh Hashanah, Christmas etc.

    https://www.hotukdeals.com/vouchers/...holder-3536146

    20% of £200+ with code MYLEGO20 or 15% off £85+ with code MYLEGO15.

It says you need to be a JL cardholder but if you sign up/ are signed up to JL online you get one by doing so anyway.

A ‘friend’ told me that this brings the UCS Millenium Falcon down from £650 to £520. My ‘friend’ may soon start a thread about how you explain the purchase to his Missus. 😉

    Best

Another ‘friend’ of mine tells me that he has heard that the Mustang is a great kit https://www.johnlewis.com/lego-creat...s-car/p4165308 but he hasn’t received it yet! 😉

It is, and, if your friend was to buy a lighting kit it would look even better.

Can you point me in the direction of a suitable lighting kit for the Mustang, as there seems to be a few to choose from?

My pleasure, I’m glad to hear that people have been using it. My ‘friend’ might have been embarrassed if he was the only one on here to do so! 😉

My “friend” has just completed the James Bond DB5 and Porsche 911 RSR and was looking for recommendations for his next project. He was thinking 1989 Batmobile.
