They’ll do what they normally do.it will sell out immediately with a few mugs paying ridiculous prices for them on eBay. Timex will then produce another shedload some months later and all the previous hype will wither and die. And then onto the next one...

Those made me smile in a good way. Just had the e-mail, and like the one with Charlie Brown and Snoopy jumping in the air!
Started out with nothing. Still have most of it left.

What’s with the snoopy obsession and watches?

Is this just Timex using Snoopy to cash in on the Omega marketing?

That particular drawing is one of my favourite pieces of comic book art - along with a wonderful picture of Calvin and Hobbes hugging each other.

They send me to a great time in my young life. the peanuts holiday specials were already fairly old when I first watched them, but my children love them like I did.

Probably more just Timex reissuing their Timex Peanuts watches, I doubt the average Timex buyer knows or cares about any Omega snoopy watch.

Ah, cheers. Couldn’t quite work out whether it was to piggy-back Omega or not. I’m guessing Snoopy being popular when mechanical watches were the norm.

Timex were doing snoopy watches well before Omega.

One of my first watches was a mechanical timex snoopy with his arms for hands like this -

I love them because in a world of rolex rolex rolex, I can also collect snoopy watches and enjoy them for what they are :-)

The peanuts over the years has appeared on the watches of multiple companies - it's no different to licensing Batman to appear on a watch:

First Timex watch featuring Snoopy 1969, first Omega 2003. And I believe Armitron before either of them.

Wow! They're cool. Who made these?

My first ever watch was a yellow Snoopy watch with the tennis ball as a seconds hand. I'm still a big fan of the Peanuts cartoons

I do like that although it has failed the sine qua non of quartz watches, the second hand is off.

I however forwarded the link to a friend of mine who has just named her new car, "Snoopy." She's buying one. :)

Actually looks better than I thought. You must have a small wrist, that looks large for a 38mm. My advice to all would be wax those wrists before you try the hair puller bracelet.

I was wondering when this was going to launch.

Going to pick one up just for the nostalgia

I have heard this complain often but inspite of being somewhat follicularly blessed, haven’t had that problem with the Timex Q.
