That's absolutely lovely. Moonphase coluring without the fussiness.

    What's the reference?

    Thanks Ryan.
    It's a " Compax 1950" ref. 884.480.
It is a great looking watch with a Lemania 1873 movement.

Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.

Yes I love this watch, a definite keeper

It's a Seiko 6138 0020. Recently serviced and lightly renovated by .olli. of this very Forum.

Very few watchmakers will take on a 6138, because the most common problem with them is a faulty or broken centre chrono wheel, and they're simply unavailable. The giveaway is the chrono seconds hand not resetting correctly.

Olli did a fantastic job on this, and it's definitely a keeper.

    Do you mean 6138-8020?

I believe 6138 0020 is the reference for the Seiko Tokei Zara.

JohnnyE, there's another picture of this model in post 3 and here's a recent thread I wrote about the model, if you're interested...

I did, of course, mean 8020. In my defence I was multi-tasking between the womens' T20 between England and the West Indies, Sale vs Quins, and TZ. Something had to give. I might have been concentrating too hard on the cricket.

There was a time when I was thinking of selling this so I asked my friend if I could take some pics with him wearing it - he suggested this shot so I just went with the flow

Good thing I had second thoughts and kept it
