It's not unusual for it to take a day or three, don't get downhearted unless you receive the "sorry try again next time" email.

You obviously have your reasons, but I'm certain you'd have sold just as many if you added an extra £10 to your sale to cover the wages of some additional support.

Anyway, well done for keeping on delivering great products.
Closer to £186,000, but that’s turnover not profit. An extra £10 per watch would have raised an additional £5,730.

Out of curiosity, how do you know the number of watches sold yesterday?

You would never get an e-mail from Time Factors, the e-mails come from SagePay and RomanCart.

Eddie stated that he had received 661 orders (message sent after 1430)

He also stated that the system had over-sold by:
    ~ 69x Everest blacks
    ~ 11x Everest 40mm, and
    ~ 8x Air Ministry.

    So that 661 - (8 + 11 + 69) = 573

I assumed £325 per watch (I know the AM and Willard are both a touch more expensive, but there were only very few AM left in stock), so:

    573 x 325 = 186,225
    &
    573 x 10 = 5,730

    Eddie also posted:

"Ordering opened at 1400 hrs UK time today and closed at 1430 hours. Ordering will re-open when all 661 orders received have been shipped and notification will be sent out via the mailing list. Quite a few of the orders are multi-watch orders and they take longer to pack, I estimate that there could be 40 days shipping to clear all the orders."

I changed the font colour concerning multiple watch orders.

There were 661 orders but there's really no way to know how many watches were ordered, especially because at least one person ordered only straps, further confounding the issue.

Those who ordered the Baby Willard are in for a treat to explain I had the watch sitting on My bedside table it had been exposed briefly to daylight yet at 5.25AM I looked at the dial and I was still with My 50 years + eyes,to tell the time this was around 9 hours after a brief exposure to sunlight to Me that's utterly incredible.

    Good point. I missed that.

Either way, I'm chuffed that Eddie/TimeFactors is doing so well. Long May it last.

I'm a bit confused now as to what emails I have received.
I have the email from sage pay but also an email which looks to have come from eddie platts - timefactors email confirmation email for order ref.xxxx
would this be the email from romancart that is being discussed or something different ?

Mine has a ref number RCxxxxxxxx, so I assume that the RC bit is RomanCart.

    You are both correct.

Thoes are the 2 email's you get.
I might also add the money that's been taken from you're account may be released back to that account and re-taken when the order ships. So don't panic if you see you're bank balance come back up because it doesn't mean the order has been cancelled.
It happened to me on my last purchase. Just make sure that you don't spend it lol.

So I've just got a message that my order didn't make it in time. My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.

I suppose the next batch of Eversts will be available no sooner than next year, right?

What was the time stamp on your payment accepted e-mail?

The previous batch appears to have sold out on May 31.

14:06 UK time for order processed, and 14:12 for payment accepted.

So there's hope for one more maybe this year, should Eddie still have some stamina left after the current battle.

Nearly 300 Everests sold in under 6 min - amazing. I'm hoping I'm ok at 14:01:36

That's an incredible pace! But now I'm starting to shake a bit in my boots. Sagepay email at 1403 and RC email at 1405. For the 36mm Black Everest.

Still don't understand what the evidence is of the outcome and when likely is to arrive?
Still no RC mail but Sagepay only at 14:02.

Yes I did from Eddie and Sagepay that my orders & paymnet has went through, then this morning saw an email from Eddie to tell my order has been cancelled, I was really disappointed despite been waiting for over 4 mth, and I don't think the next order will be this year.

On Sunday I got my order in at 1408, the site was not accessible till 1402, I don't know how much more quicker I need to be..... 6 mins all gone insane...

WOW....that's just insane, it looks like anybody could get the order cancelled even if their order went through immediately after 2pm, I got both emails through at 14.02pm but who knows what will happen.

Ordering was unprecedented on Sunday. To put it into context, the value of orders received in that 30 minute window exceeded my entire annual turnover 8 years ago.

That's both amazing and terrifying at the same time. But overall, a huge success!

I'm just really hopeful that we'll get some additional possibilities this year to snag the Everest. I can only imagine, but it probably gets harder and harder each time for you to meet the demand, and in timely manner, Eddie.

Looking forward to getting the Baby Speedbird!

Eddie, does it have the same screw in crown tube as the full size version?

There's no way of telling without asking the manufacturer but I told him a year ago that all new models should have the screw in tube.

I know that means a lot of work for you Eddie but congrats and well done. This just shows how good your watches are and such great value. I didn't get an order in for the new dial version of the Everest but congrats to all who did. I am saving my pennies for the Navigator which might be available by the time the store is open again, fingers crossed.

Excellent news, particularly in the current climate. Even the disappointed purchasers received a little cardio workout for their efforts.
