Car ports

This goes along with the driveway thread but thought I'd keep them separate.

Along with the driveway, I'm thinking of getting a car port installed. Main reason is to have somewhere to put a car so that it is a bit more out of the weather (garage is full of other stuff), provide some cover if need to work on a car etc.

Was thinking long the lines of something that is supported on one side but is open on all the other sides - that way I can tuck it out of the way a little. Something like these:

Can’t answer your question, but very interested as I’m dismantling my old carport replacing with ???
