RIP Best Bond Girl Ever!
Saw her in the new All Creatures Great and Small a few days ago. I thought she was looking really old, far older than in Detectorists, but her character and wit still shone out.
We all have to go sometime, but I can't help but feel there were plenty ahead in the queue...

When I was young watching all the James Bond movies I always gave this one a miss as it didn't have the exciting action scenes and stunts of the other films but now I really appreciate just how underrated and good OHMSS is.
A great plot (and close to the book), no outlandish special effects, great villain (Telly Savalas), breathtaking scenery and backdrop, beautiful soundtrack and 'We have all the time in the world' which actually has the sad connection to the ending and of course, one of the most beautiful and probably in pure acting terms, the best actress to be cast in the Bond movies, in Diana Rigg.
They tried to recreate this with Spectre but couldn't match the emotional connection between Bond and Tracy or the parts where the film was just allowed to breathe so you could take in what was actually going on.
