Any chance of putting a swiss auto movement in the special edition?

In all seriousness, the 36mm is the most popular and as the machining is in place for that model, there seems no point incurring the expense of a new design when the 36mm works so well.

Also, Tudor and Rolex are all moving towards 36mm.

Nah you're right on the economics of it and if it ain't broke don't fix it, sure another 36mm model will sell like hot cakes.

Just chewing the fat really and thought I'd support the idea of a slightly different version, it's a bit of an evolution, not simply following the market makers you mentioned, also obviously with a dash of self interest.

    Sorry.

Eddie can the jubilee bracelet be purchased for the Everest Expedition?

    Silver Jubilee Everest

Another vote on offering a jubilee bracelet as a separate purchase like the current rivet one.
Look forward to seeing prototypes with the aventurine dial, as mentioned above little details to make it that more premium would be great if these will never be made again. Silver script and coronet on the crown would be icing on the cake!

All good ideas but the original concept that Eddie hinted at was a watch to celebrate his 'Silver Jubilee' as an online watch seller. It wasn't about a Jubilee watch strap for the Everest. That's not to say that the Jubilee watch might not come on a Jubilee strap, but there's definitely some linguistic confusion in this thread.

Hope you’re looking forward to a well deserved Christmas break Eddie. Would be grateful, when you can, for any update on these much awaited models!

The more I think about it the less I'd want an aventurine dial. It moves the watch a little too far away from its inspiration. I like the overall idea of a special edition, with silver script, maybe an upgraded movement, coronet signed crown and maybe even a jubilee bracelet or an oyster with a better clasp.
It's not intended to be part of the Everest range, it's a one-off special edition and as such, shold be very different.

If you decide to do this one I'll be hoping to be solvent enough to get one, because I rather like the look of it.

    Lightbulb 500 vs 250 vs 2500...

    Eddie -- Love the dial.

I'm wondering if there's some (not so) subtle way to bring 25 into the design.

Obviously 250 (too few) or 2500 pieces (far too many!), but maybe replacing 3/6/9 with 2 and 5? Or using a repeated "25" in the dial?

    So many possibilities!

Curious to see how this comes out. The best thing, imo, about the 36mm Everest is the plain black dial ...

This is the raw video of the prototype, titling and different soundtrack to be added.

I feel the Aventurine dial will divide opinions. The video shows it very sparkly like a new car at the motorshow on a turntable. I would be interested to see it in the daylight, I still think the dial will pop. Im also sure there will be a line of Everest owners queuing up to buy the bracelet if Eddie choses to sell that separately.

    I really love that.
It looks very effective with that single (admittedly massive) change to the dial.
Having spent a full 5 minutes just gawping at the aventurine dial on Gary's Megaquartz a few years back, I will certainly be hoping to be in the queue for this one.
The jubilee bracelet looks very tasty on it.
Eddie, did you ever tell us which size this is?

Nice looking dial, not sure it is a bit feminine for me or whether I can man up to it. The bracelet looks great o

Love the sparkles on the dial, but is purple the best colours? (I'm curious on hoe other colors would look, but maybe it's "25th anniversary royal purple"?

Tip for anyone watching the video: slow the playback speed down to 0.25 to fully appreciate the dial sparkle.

My love of different colour dials is well documented but that really is spectacular, irrespective of tightness of funds at present I’ll be after one of these. Absolute class.
