I haven't posted any photos of my watches on the TZ forum as of yet and I have only managed to successfully purchase a black dial Everest and that was well over a year ago, since then I have unsuccessfully attempted to pick up a Commando in both sapphire & plexi (on different shop openings), a Jubilee and most recently the new black dial Everest with that last attempt on Sunday.

After being one of the lucky few on Sunday that got an order in. It arrived today much quicker than expected.
Several failed attempts but got there in the end and I'm glad I did. I understand why some don't want to order with the current system but if you do keep trying because it is possible.

Well done and nice to see that it’s on your wrist rather than e-bay

Rub it in, rub it in …….

    🤣

Seriously, though, congratulations. Enjoy for many years to come.
I will continue to try and hope to catch one before they sell out.

Thanks. I was very excited when the postman rang. Showed it to the wife and she said ' Why did you buy a watch with glitter on it'
...... so she's up for sale if anyone's interested, the wife that is not the watch!

Congrats, interesting that you got such a low number. They obviously aren't going out in order.

Congrats … wear it and enjoy it. I often think how will the Everest age. Like in 15 years. Lol just thinking out loud. Probably Eddie’s finest piece this is. The jubilee, the dial and the meaning behind it. Good stuff.

I don't think so, given that they're being released in small tranches on each shop opening.

Eddie said there are 300 still yet to be sold. I think at each opening the allocated amount sells out but they are only released in small batches so there will probably be several more openings with them for sale.

Thanks for the info, to R and you.
I thought it was sold out since it shows as that in the site. Guess I'll have to see what Feb 13 brings..

    That's more than annoying.

There's one on eBay from this seller. Already up to £570 with 7 days to go. Didn't take them long for them to realise they didn't like it.

And this will be the third TF watch they have sold in the last couple of months.

There’s two up at present on e-bay plus a nutter in the States asking 4 figures.

Are the yellow and orange Caribbean still available or did they sell out and is it possible to buy them or are they another 10 sec watch - anybody know.

There must be some re-listing in there, he hasn't ordered 7 and he hasn't ordered anything at all since November.

According to the TF website, only the blue and the yellow/blue are sold out so presumably the orange should be relatively easy to pick up when the site is next open.

As much as I would like to have this very one -I have several LE watches with SN 225- but I’m not playing that game. Doesn’t make it lany less annoying, seeing the business (model) of these “entrepreneurs”. Haven’t given up hope completely yet that I will land one of these.

What a shame that these didn't go to someone who would appreciate them, not someone out for a profit. But that's nothing unusual in the watch world.

Poor guy, seems to have a wrist recognition problem. Bought a PRS-25 in September, doesn't bond ("Only selling as i found the dial too small for my big wrist") and sells via eBay. Then buys another in January 2022, unfortunately it's still too small ("Only selling as i found the dial too small for my big wrist") and sells again. You'd think third time lucky, but that guy has all the misfortune in the world and even the third one, an Everest Silver Jubilee, is still too small ("Only selling as i found the dial too small for my big wrist").

Fortunately he found out every time before he had removed the stickers, hopefully the financial loss won't be too big.

Funny stuff. I don’t really get why people would do this though. Wouldn’t they get charged a sellers fee? So if he won it with another account wouldn’t his main account get charged for the sale?

If you are a regular eBay seller, the world is full of no-fee/low-fee offers. None of them pays anywhere close to what you think.

Lots of people buy things to resell at a higher price so fair enough but its the BS stories that annoy me more. Do they need to lie for it to sell, surely not, just makes them look dishonest.

    Another chance this Sunday.

Question for anyone who knows, is this 10 sec madness just for the likes of the Jubilee? Is it the same for the like of the Caribbean etc or do you actually get a better chance if you buy one of those. I was thinking of the Orange version.

I was on the checkout page and twice my card was declined... on my third attempt I was prompted that it sold out. now I will try to be more prepared for the next time...

edit: I thought the issue was the auto-filled date format but it seems that there's a problem with Mastercard. hoping for better luck on the next open.

Unbelievable! Got through to payment, got redirected to my banking app, and when I returned to the site to complete the payment the item had vanished from my basket! Surely the stock should be held for you for a time until you’ve had a chance to complete the payment?
