Mine came yesterday after the local UPS held it hostage for almost two weeks. Love the dial and the bracelet, finally a tapered jubilee that I like.
    Haven't had a 36mm for a while, I really enjoy the size.

    Fantastic value for money.

I decided mine would look better on her and so it's been packed away, will make an appearance on the Christmas Day thread.

The 36mm size hits the sweet spot for me and the overall fit and finish is excellent.
If you haven’t already managed to get one for yourself I’d certainly say it’s worth trying the next time the shop is open.
I’d also like to say a huge thank you to Eddie for sending me my lucky number - it’s great service in the middle of packing and sending out so many watches to their happy owners!

Looks fantastic… my favourite release of late. Congrats on being able to get one and that jubilee looks ultra comfy

Store opening on Sunday at 14:00UTC -- not sure I agree with allowing 2 purchases per person this time around.

But he's still limiting the Everest to one per person, right?

The newsletter and website both say two - matching his’n’hers or one for each wrist!

From what I read, it's two per person on the Jubilee and one per person on the Commando - site taking only 150 orders this time instead of the usual 200 so even more pressure then.

The shop may only manage to stay open for 30 seconds this time on Sunday, good luck everyone

I imagine there will be many people going for it just because of the challenge not because they actually want one.

Nope, it's two per person on both watches.

Haha do people do that? They don’t want a watch but do it just for the challenge lol.

Will this be the last opening before Xmas I wonder.

Yes, this is the last opening before Christmas and ordering is limited to 150 so they can all be shipped to arrive in time for Christmas.

Exactly my thoughts, when I saw the news I thought "what watch should I get?" without stopping to think if I actually need one. Anyway, it's going to be a a PRS-38 .

After two unsuccessful attempts at buying one online for my daughter I was very lucky to have a WTB answered. I can honestly say this is one of the most stunning dials that I have ever seen.

    warranty?

I'm just wondering about guarantee policy that first year applies to the original buyer only. What if I buy one piece as a gift? So the buyer is me but the owner not. How can it be fixed?

You handle any issues but it's most unlikely there will be any.

Sorry Eddie, didn't get it. What if the owner (who I handed the present) has some issue? Different name, different country, how they can manage to be repaired?

I’d be quite happy to trust Eddie to put it right if I had an issue - but I’ve never had a problem with any of the (5) watches I’ve had from Timefactors directly or indirectly.
They use solid, well proven calibres that most watchmakers can repair even once the watch is out of guarantee.
If you really don’t like it the simple solution is don’t buy one - I’m sure there are plenty of others who’ll be happy to take your place when the ordering opens at 1400

I suppose in this case the new owner you handed the present to would be someone you know on a more personal level. In which case you’d be told by them, hey I have an issue with the watch you gave me and you yourself would contact Eddie. This would then be sorted through you and timefactors. The person you handed the gift to would obviously have to ship the item out etc if they aren’t local to you.

That would still work. They have to send the item back to timefactors from where they live.

Had it in the cart. Checkout button wouldn't click. Then the dreaded 'sold out' message.

Good thing Eddie does those pre-sales events for the Grand Masters. Couldn't be bothered to stand in line with the chavs.

So close!!! got it in the cart, typed all the card details went to payment and the credit card company wanted to send a confirmation code and by the time it came though and went forward to pay the watch vanished from the cart! This was withing 90 seconds of opening!

can't save the card details either.

    Third time unlucky :-{

    regards

    Saggs

Same for me… got the furthest I have, but authorisation required from bank (must have been all the Xmas spending)

Will have to scour SC and eBay for the coming years.

Bitterly disappointed. Congratulations to Eddie though, he deserves to have this level of demand for his watches. I just wish they were the well kept secret from years ago.

I think that there's been a limit on how many Silver Jubilee's have been made available up to now, so more to come in January.
