Tudor Black Bay GMT Mesh

Looking for bracelet option as an alternative to nato for my Tudor BB GMT, but given that I don’t wear it all that often I don’t really want to stump up £600 for the OEM version as the watch is very much limited to holiday usage.

Have seen a few photos of the watch on mesh and I cannot make up my mind. What are the collective thoughts of the forum - yes or no?

My opinion but a mesh doesn’t suit the watch. Each to their own.

Have you considered a Strapcode bracelet, about £160, really good fit and decent quality.

You could get one of the several offerings on ebay. Item 254710288700 perhaps? You even then get a non-faux rivet example, which is probably an improvement.

I think it looks quite good but it’s not a great photo to make a decision on.

You could always buy a cheap mesh strap for 20-30 quid from somewhere like watchgecko. if you like it get, you could upgrade to a staib, if you don’t, send it back and all you’ve lost is the cost of postage

I had a BB GMT and considered the same. I then saw a mesh bracelet on a mate’s watch and firmly decided against putting mine on one. Didn’t look right with the big gap. These Tudors have long lugs so the gap is quite pronounced.

Apologies for the poor picture quality.

Strapcode is something I have considered, but I was put off as a result of having seen another poor quality aftermarket bracelet. Having circled back round on them, the reviews do look decent so I will reconsider.

The item referenced on eBay is one I’ve actually spotted and I do intend to keep my eye on. I suspect it may rocket in price over the next 6 days, but worth a watch.
