    Evening all, any Clay shooters on here

    Looking for a UK based fourm to read and learn some more, had an evening shoot last month and caught a bug

    Google the CPSA & WCTSA websites they are the organisations that govern clay shooying in England & Wales. You will get far more information off the CPSA site.

    My advice would be go for a few coaching lessons and see if your interest remains. If you still enjoy it after a few sessions, then apply for your shotgun certificate and get your own gun, as that way it will help you to shoot more consistently (gun fit is very important, so try to use/loan the same gun each time for your lessons too).

    Lots of good clay grounds around and some poor ones too, but practice and coaching will help.

    As already mentioned, the CPSA is a good resource for local clubs.
