Love them or loath then you cant deny Amphibias are amazing value
They are indeed great value - I have the Komanderskie hand wind military watch. Lovely piece. My only annoyance is that the case on the back can turn your wrist green, but that's because it's chrome plated.

Don't get that problem with the diver I'm sure.

That looks good. I've been toying with the idea of a Komandirskie for a while now, this might just push me over the edge (once I sell a couple of bits to raise some cash).

Sandwich dial looks good, and that's a way better bezel than the standard Amphibia one.

That looks great. I see that they have also brought out a new version with the yellow sandwich dial which might have been fun as a base for modding, but I think I've missed the boat. Looking forward to seeing what else you have in the pipeline.

For the price, those sandwich dial Vostoks are fantastic. Been a while since any were for sale - hopefully Meranom will sell a few more soon.

That's very nice. I don't have a sandwich dial watch in my collection yet. How is the lume? That's always been the downfall on my Boctoks so far.

Virtually identical dial and bezel but using a 420 case as opposed to the original model 350 swing lug. I know that with a bit of perseverance you can find modern near identical swing lug cases but if they wear anything like the vintage ones then their not my cup of tea
Oooh sounds very interesting. I still have my Russian swinger.

Very nice. I'm waiting for my first Amphibia to arrive from The Steppe. My eBay seller is 900 miles east of Moscow. I've been wearing my Komanderskie for a couple of months and have been very impressed by the bang for the buck.

I have the exact same watch which only arrived last Friday. Its new and still standard with the standard rubber strap and bezel.

I really like the bezel change and strap you have yours on now. It great that you can make such a charge to a watch with a simple mod.

I fancy a 24 hour bezel in the future. Was it difficult to change?

I’ have changed bezels a few times on my Amphibia. There is a spring which can be a bit tricky if bent in the process. Luckily they are very cheap, so when ordering a bezel get some spare springs as well.
