Now showing at full price and 1 in stock. Did somebody on here get a bargain?

Not sure it is that much of a bargain at £2100, especially since there is a fair chance that there will be some QC issues with it.

If someone wants one for £2100 they can get one here.

I ordered one before I posted the link. Will report back on any QC shenanigans when it gets here after the bank holiday.

Seemed a great price to me. A brand new watch with full warranty for the price of a used one. Also, the other one (Watchnation?) has now gone up to £2.7k - I wonder if I they tracked each other’s prices in some way.

What QC issues have been reported with the MM300? I've never seen a QC issue on one of these. It isn't a £300 Turtle. £2,100 for one of these new from an AD without any dodgy import VAT nonsense is seriously cheap.

Google is your friend. There are a large number of people who have had problems even on the higher end models.

Seiya in Japan puts a disclaimer, on a lot of his Seiko's, about alignment problems with the bezels, dials and chapter rings.

How many brands have you ever seen for sale with such a disclaimer attached. I don't think that disclaimer happened by accident.

    Hello dear forum members

I bought mine new here with 20% + 10% discount:

    https://www.uhrcenter.de/produkt/sei...kuhr-sla023j1/

From time to time such as today there is the additional discount of 10%. Few weeks ago it was 15% discount on top of the 20% standard discount.

2.250 Euro should correspond at today’s exchange rate to 2.007 GBP for a brand new SLA023J1!

Perhaps you can buy and let it ship to UK.

Seller is great. Good reputation. Fast. Only positive feedbacks. No risk.

    Have a great weekend

I get what you're saying and Seiko QC has a bad name for good reason but I'm still yet to see a MM300 with QC issues. Not the SBDX001, SBDX017 or the SLA versions in different colours. The Seiya disclaimer seems to be on everything. The Sumos largely have issues as do the Turtles but the King Turtles and "MM200" seem to be fine out of the gate.

There doesn't seem to be any extra discount on that German site, but the watch is available for £2175 here in the UK

I would snap one up but I know I'll move it on due to the size on my girl-wrists

Why are these been so heavily discounted?

Great watches, I suspect the loss of “marine master”from the dial along with a decent price hike over last few years has affected their popularity.

I've got a couple of the older ones and not had any issues

I can never decide which I prefer the 001 or the 017 - but I do prefer the Crafter Blue strap to the Bracelet

Probably the watch I wear the most, the 017

I get that as the X is so wide ranged now, not a fan of it on the more expensive models...

I've had an SBDX017 and an SLA021. You don't notice the X at all, just in photos.

banner at the top of the page shows summer35 = 10% discount...postage price was decent, less than €10 to the UK. But I should add it did say only 1 available.

But...I didnt need one! Need..interesting word in the context of TZ...its not long since I bought a black dial off SC from Wileeeeeey...so comparison then decision...its been a few years since I had an MM300 and the build on the newer version just feels superior to me when compared to the first gen, but it is more expensive. As for the logo on the crown and the change of name on the dial, doesnt bother me in the slightest. No QA problem with my black dial either, bezel lines up fine.
