Fake!
Been offered this, only seen the photo's but it looks wrong to me, mainly the font on the bezel. I'm no expert so if anyone thinks otherwise please let me know.
Steve
I'm not an expert but I highly doubt the 12 baton (or square) would be misaligned like that on a real one. And look at the lume in the '3' marker. Highly improbable that it's a real one.
That just isn't a fake it gives fakes a bad name.
It also appears to have just been plucked from a fresh cowpat. What sort of filthy Yacht-club does the seller attend?!
Not a Rolex owner but I think that is actually a fake fake.
Bezel looks rough as a badgers and the word Perpetual has quite a gap like Perpe tual.

Is the 2 o clock pusher missing?
Who has offered it to you?
How much do they want?
Are they are friend?
Will they still be a friend now?
I'm no expert but the spacing on the text is all over the place, as is the font on the bezel like you say. And those squares or batons are a bit wobbly.
Who would have the cheek to offer that to anyone! Hope you have a polite word with him/her.

Looks more like a kids toy watch than a Rolex!

As a previous poster has asked, who offered you this?
How much did they ask you for it?
Where do they say they got it from?
How long is it since tz-uk had fun with a rotter and a fake Rolex?
This is one of the poorest fakes I've seen in some time.
Not to be disparaging, but if you have to ask whether that is fake you should NOT be buying privately by yourself. Use a trusted dealer like Haywood.
Does that LOOK like a £12k watch to you????
This is like posting a picture of bleach with the caption "Is this safe to drink?".
my eyes, my eyes !!
Batons not straight
Wrong colours
Paint missing on the fingers
inconsistent print finish
Spacing on the word perpetual
Rehaut engraving not deep enough
Top Push button wrong
Bracelet wrong with fit and finish
Alignment of the Swiss made is wrong

Real or fake it's a dreadful looking thing.
The main takeaway you should have from this thread Steve is that you're not in a great position to buy a luxury watch privately. I don't mean that in an offensive way, I'm in the same boat as you and wouldn't risk my own money either.
You should look to deal with a trusted seller. This watch is a bad fake, but there are good fakes that are very difficult to detect. It's just not worth the risk. You could buy a watch and not find out until 5 years later when you send it to service that it was actually made in China
I'm assuming you didn't even compare it to a photo of the real thing - virtually different in every way.
Always better to ask on here before putting hand into pocket.
I just showed it to my 8 year old.....he confirms it’s definitely fake LOL
We all puff our chests and laugh at how obvious a fake this is but it isn’t that obvious at all to 95% of people, that’s the whole point of selling this tat, they only need to catch one unsuspecting fool and their money and there job is done.
So that's clearly fake as f&*k.
But are there two models of the 116680?
I can find a version that looks like this one, with blue baton hands, and a square at 12. There's also a second with a triangle at 12 and mercedes hands.
From Watchfinder:
WoS:
The model was indeed slightly revised a year or two ago.
Now, back to the fake :
Who offered it?
How much did they ask?
Can we have a fight?
I lol'd. Twas funny. Sent from my SM-N960F using TZ-UK mobile app
