That new Sub is the pick of the bunch from new lot.
A definite improvement in the lugs for me.
That does look great on the wrist, see how long it takes to get the call....

PS I have four other six digit Sub’s and I’ve gotta say case/size/bracelet-taper wise, this is by far my favourite, they really have sorted out the ‘blockiness’ of the previous generation....
(Thank God I don’t like what they did with the Dial/Bezel colours of the others or I’d be hoping in vain to change the lot of’em!!)
Green dial OP 41 in my local AD window this afternoon. I imagine it is gone now. I won't spend a penny with them out of principle for how they treated me so I'm not going to divulge the AD and give them a sale but it does show they are turning up.
Amazing how such a tiny difference makes on the Sub!!
114060 was my beater at one point - this looks so much nicer
David Summerfield in the Metro Centre have a 2020 Kermit in the window this afternoon for a bargain-tastic £18,250.
Really nice

Hopefully by the looks of it, the new Sub will be easier to get hold of! I hope anyway...

Kermit / Cermit all the way for me. Which one would you pick if you had to only have one of them?

Started out with nothing. Still have most of it left.
Neil at Chronomaster has a never worn 41mm Sub in at £12.5k if
anyone’s interested.
I’m never sure why Rolex don’t solve the problem by charging a lot more for these models. There must be a reason......
Also, when/if the market falls, they’d be faced with either the embarrassment of a significant price decrease, or a big fall in demand.
Rolex aren’t a public company looking for maximum profit over a year or 5 year cycle; they’re a charity who want to be running waiting lists for steel Daytonas in the year 2050. If that’s your goal, maintaining an aura of desirability and exclusivity (giving people the confidence to buy without much/any depreciation) is a better bet than ‘milking the cow’ with vast price increases or ramping up production.
