Gents,
I have a gorgeous, and rather rare, AP ref 25807st which I love to bits. However my wrist has shrunk marginally since moving back to a cool climate, and I can no longer achieve a good fit on the bracelet (which used to be perfect). It's either too loose or tight.
0.5/1.5 links don't exist for this model. But I've got some spare links. Do you think it'd be possible to get someone to custom machine a slightly elongated link? Perhaps halve an existing link, add some metal, then brush/polish it up to scratch. If we can laser-weld bit dings out of watches this is surely possible...?
And if so, where on EARTH would I turn for this sort of thing?!
No idea for sure but I would get in touch with Beau at LA Watch Works or Rocco at Watchworks Bristol and see if it's something they can do or have some advice on who can.
The two companies aren't connected as far as I'm aware. LA WW would probably be my first call.
