    Friday 21st August

Been a while since I've posted. Actually. A while doesn't cut it, it's been ages. Using the TZ app so hope this works. Scratch that, switched to Tapatalk and edited the horrid image quality...

Photo from a few days ago when the sun was shining, but this has been a great companion in north Wales this week.

Don’t wear it very much these days, so popped it on to see if I can rediscover the love. Not sure I am.

I just realised this is the first Chronograph I have owned for over 20 years, I am not sure why I was so subdial averse. HAGWE

Railmaster 39mm for me today. It’s been a while...not really a summer beach watch. I’d forgotten it was such a wearable and readable watch...the only issue is trying to erase the Jeremy Clarkson connection from my mind while wearing it...

Your Pinion caught my eye today. I never really liked bronze watches but this one has changed my mind. The dial lay out and colours work well together. What are the symbols at the 3 o clock position on the case/bezel ?

It is a SIDUNA M3440 flyback.
Inspired by the legendary Lemania Viggen.
Amazing quality and it really communicates that vintage vibe through modern technology.
Amazing value for money as well. Remember that some of the big players shy away from flybacks by saying they are too expensive or too complicated...
Our resident lemania expert Sweets has done a couple of amazing write ups on it!
Here is one more to wet your appetite

Thanks. It’s my only bronze piece & it is very nicely detailed and put together.
The patina is developing very slowly & evenly - which I like.
I guess it woud develop more if I wore it more often.
It’s actually a plain, brushed bezel - the photo just shows the reflections from the crown.
Here’s a pic slightly side on (which actually shows the layered dial detail much better too)...

Many thanks! I'll definitely check them out. I feel a certain kinship with this, having worked on the Gripen at SAAB in Linköping...
