    Question for the (bedroom) DJs...

Following the fairly recent ad on SC for a Pioneer mixer I’ve only gone and bought one...then realised I deleted a lot of my music because I hated ITunes (back up is somewhere). Rekordbox and Spotify aren’t friends any more either.

So what do you people use for house music new and old? I want to stream to my laptop and don’t mind paying if necessary.

    Thanks

    Ian

Beatport is probably the best site to purchase music. They have a very wide library of music too. I think they do a subscription service that works with Rekordbox too.

Bandcamp is another good site if the artist you are looking for uses that platform.

Soulseek is a really simple to use, peer-to-peer file sharing application that is good for old or obscure stuff you can't buy anymore. Pretty much has everything house related you can think of shared on it, but legality is an issue as with any P2P file sharing site.
